Join us for lunch and a guest speaker: Brian McInerney
Brian will address the effects of a warming climate on Utah's water supply, snowpack, precipatation intensity, temperature and overall quality of life through 2100 AD.
Brian McInerney is the Senior Hydrologist for the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has held this position in various formats for the past 28 years. Brian provides forecasts for spring snowmelt runoff, flash flood warnings, climate information, and climate change science to scientists, engineers, and policy makers. He has a MS degree in Forest Hydrology from the University of Montana, and an undergraduate degree from St. Mary's University in Winona Minnesota. He currently resides in Park City, Utah.
The event will be held on Thursday, June 28 2018 at 12:00pm at DEQ Board Room, 195 North 1950 West, SLC.
Cost: $5 for members and $10 for non-members for the lunch and presentation. Payment is required even if you choose not to eat lunch.
